Vocsis Corporation has developed a technology to uniquely divide an arbitrary 3D object into segments at narrow parts of the shape. This technology was registered as a Japanese patent 6832479 jointly filed with Tohoku University on February 4, 2021.
Vocsis Corporation presented a poster titled "ICF: A Shape-based 3D Segmentation Method" at the SIGGRAPH 2020, which is known as the world largest event on computer graphics and interactive technologies held on the WEB from August 17th to 28th.
